Who we are

Our Mission Statement:
Pathway exists to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ

Our Vision Statement:
Pathway seeks to create Biblical disciples in relational environments.

Our Process:

Connect
Connecting is all about relationships.  At Pathway we believe in connecting people to God and to others.  As you begin your journey at Pathway, Sundays are the the first step in getting connected.  We hope that you will experience an environment that inspires you to live life as your heavenly Father designed it to be lived.

Grow
In Life Groups people study God’s word together and discuss the issues and challenges of life.  Life Group members pray, and care for one another. Life group members form bonds of friendship with you, encouraging you when you are there, and missing you when you aren't.  For more information about Life Groups please visit our ministries page.

Serve
At Pathway, we believe that serving is also part of our spiritual journey.  We serve through a variety of ministry teams designed to meet needs both inside and outside our church.

Beliefs

Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired word of God, without error. We believe it sets the standard for living, and should be viewed as the absolute authority for all generations.
( I Thessalonians 2:13; John 17:17; II Timothy 3:16-17)

God
We believe God is a triune (three in one) being consisting of three distinct personalities represented by the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  We believe God is eternal and that He created the universe and all that is in it.
(Matthew 28:19; John 1:1-14, 14:16, 26; Colossians 1:1; I Corinthians 8:6; Hebrews 1:1-2)

Jesus
We believe Jesus is the son of God, and that what the bible says about Him is true.  We believe He was born of a virgin and led a sinless life.  We believe He came and lived this life for the sole purpose of being a worthy sacrifice to absolve us from our sins. That mission was fulfilled when He died on the cross and was raised from the dead on the third day. We also await His triumphant return to this Earth as He has promised.
(Philippians 2:5-8; Hebrews 4:14-15; I Peter 2:21-24; I Corinthians 15:3-5; John 14:1-6; Romans 8:31-34; Luke 1:26-35; Ephesians 1:18-23, 5:23; Acts 1:9-11)

Beliefs

Holy Spirit
We believe The Holy Spirit is the spirit of God who comes to live in each believer at baptism. It is He who enables believers to be like Christ and empowers them for ministry.
(Acts 2:38; John 16:5-15; 1 Corinthians 12:4-11; Galatians 5:16-25)

People
We believe every person is a precious creation of God that bears His image and are loved by Him. However due to Adam's sin, we exist in an imperfect, fallen state. We are born with an depraved nature that effects our heart, mind and will. We are sinners completely incapable of saving ourselves.
(John 3:16; Romans 3:23; 5:12-19; Ephesians 2:1-5)

Salvation
We believe it is by God's grace alone that we can receive the free gift of salvation that He alone has provided in Christ Jesus. In His mercy He has made  this gift obtainable through faith in Jesus as The Christ.

(John 3:16, Ephesians 2:8-9, Colossians 2:6, Acts 2:38)

Our Response

If we believe in Jesus and we want to receive the gift He’s offering. He calls us to repent (change our mind about who’s in charge of our life) and be baptized (immersed in  water). When we make Him Lord, we enter into a new life in Christ Jesus.

(Romans 10:9, Acts 2:38, Mark 16:16, Acts 8:36-38, Galatians 3:26-27)

Church
We believe the Church is the body of Christ on earth, empowered by the Holy Spirit through God’s word. Our purpose is to reach out to the lost and edify the saved.
(Ephesians 4:1-16)
